Chunlin Liu (刘春麟） - Personal Academic Website

Welcome to my academic homepage!

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalian University of Technology and an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Sciences. At Dalian University of Technology, I work with Prof. Zhenxin Liu, and at the Polish Academy of Sciences, I work with Prof. Yonatan Gutman. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Wen Huang. During my doctoral studies, I was a Visiting Ph.D. Student at Durham University from March 2023 to March 2024, where I worked with Prof. Huaizhong Zhao and Prof. Chunrong Feng.

My research interests lie primarily in dynamical systems and ergodic theory. I am also interested in the interactions of dynamical methods with probability theory, operator algebras, and other related areas. More recently, I have been exploring possible applications of dynamical ideas to geometry.

My work has been published in journals such as Advances in Mathematics, Annals of Applied Probability, Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, and the Journal of Differential Equations.
